"Brenda MacIntyre led
the audience on a journey like no other.
Her songs, her music, her words, her very
being send a delightful peaceful energy
into the universe. Her story is so inspiring,
and her words empowering. Brenda makes
a difference, with her warmth, her energy,
her presence, and is indeed a Woman of
Influence and Inspiration."
Linda Lane, Women of Influence and Inspiration
Seminar Coordinator, Ontario Public
Service
"We were approached
by a number of young participants who
commented on your incredible talent and
the power of the Healing Song. Many shared
that your teachings helped them to feel
comfortable and empowered them to speak
out."
Julie Coultas, Project Officer, HIV/AIDS
and Youth Programme, United Nations Association
in Canada
"I just wanted to thank
you again, you were magnificent and as
I said, you have an amazing voice!"
Sharon Watts, Medicine Song Circle participant
Brenda's seminars take
on the form of a traditional Aboriginal
circle concept (with seating arranged
in a circle wherever possible). Every
participant including the teacher is considered
equal, the concept of power is "power
within" and everyone gets to contribute
as well as receive inspiration.
Everyone participates
at their own level of comfort and
all judgment of self and others is left
outside the door. Every seminar ends with
a traditional Aboriginal Travelling Song
to integrate the teachings into each individual
at a cellular level.
Seminars are always highly
interactive. Seminar delivery styles
include workshop with handouts and written
exercises OR traditional circle with NO
writing, instead utilizing visualization,
meditation and "hands on" musical
and vocal instruction.
